I believe it is high time there was a stamp for Deism.
Yes, I am, in fact, a Deist. I was born a Christian, but for my own beliefs and reasons I moved away from the faith and came to believe in Deism. My parents allowed me to choose my own faith, so choose it I did.
Also, for my fellow Deists, I am personally a modernistic Deist. If you feel like anything in this stamp should be corrected, feel free to tell me.

Mention that you beleive in God, but it's a rational beleif.
If I didn't like the comforts of being a theist, I'd so totally be a deist. XD 'Cause deism is very logical and such, but I like the thought that God had a little more influence than just making us. ...and the fact that religion is a good psychological crutch.
I like the idea that God had something to do with us being here. Here's my thought on everything:
God made this thing called the Primeval Atom, which He put things that would eventually, after much recycling, form life. Then He made it asplode, and waited. So then, after billions and billions of years, He saw some life form, and prodded it every once and a while with His Godly powers, and people came out of it.
...I'm Christain, incase you don't know. I personally think the stuff Jesus said was very nice, and that the Ten Commandments are good ways to live. (Although I interpret them in a slightly different way.) If one complains I'm not following the Creation story... big whoop. It's just a parable saying 'You have free will. Don't get carried away, though.'
But yeah, Deism's pretty darn cool.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

And none of that nonsense is biblical. If you truly believe God used evolution or a "big bang" to create life, then you are believing a lie.
There are different ways you can look at it, though. I mean, some people interpreted the Bible as 'go on the Crusades, kill people and get the Holy Land'. It's the same way with everything. Some people interpret the Holy text of Islam, the Koran, as 'Kill infidels, and when you die in the Jihad (Holy War) you'll be rewarded'.
That's not exactly the way others see it, but it's the way some see it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.

Galileo said that.
People interpret religion differently. Every relgion can be looked at in more than one way.
